L. Keeley Construction Set to Construct New Valley Park Fire Station

VALLEY PARK, MO – DECEMBER 21, 2020 – L. Keeley Construction is proud to partner with JEMA and CRESA to construct a new fire station for Valley Park Fire Protection District. Groundbreaking for the project took place on December 14, 2020.

The L. Keeley Building Team will be constructing a new, 14,672 SF, state-of-the-art facility directly adjacent to the existing fire station, creating a new home away from home. The two-story building will consist of living quarters for the firefighters along with a recreational space and multiple training rooms. Four new vehicle bays will be used to store some of the district’s fire trucks. A mezzanine area will provide ample space for the firefighters to take advantage of while they are occupying the firehouse. The conventional steel frame building will feature a sheet metal rain screen, brick veneer, and a standing seam metal roof.

The site, overlooking MO-141 right off Crescent Avenue, will bring a much-needed expansion to some of the community’s most beloved members. Valley Park Fire Protection District encompasses approximately ten square miles located in southwest St. Louis County, MO. Valley Park is located approximately 20 miles southwest of the City of St. Louis with the Fire Protection District protecting an estimated population of 17,000.

Keeley Construction Industrial Group Partners with IKO

Keeley Construction’s Industrial Group is proud to partner with IKO on the construction of a new crushing and coloring plant, supporting the company’s continued growth through a complex, full-scope industrial build. The project includes the construction of multiple buildings, the installation of all equipment & conveyors, and complete site utility work. This project will be delivered on an aggressive 18-month schedule.
