L. Keeley Building Spotlight: Arsenal Credit Union

L. Keeley continues to expand its Financial Facilities portfolio with an intricate addition and renovation for Arsenal Credit Union. The L. Keeley team leveraged its experience in delivering DESIGN | BUILD projects for financial institutions to coordinate the construction at this active facility in conjunction with the Arsenal Credit Union team and our partners at Chiodini Architects.

Located on Vogel Road in Arnold, MO, Arsenal Credit Union serves members who live and work in the St. Louis metropolitan area. The state-of-the-art, 2,800 SF, two-story addition was designed by Chiodini Architects. It is supported by a new retaining wall and houses a call center on the first floor. New executive offices live on the 2nd floor with new kitchenette spaces on each floor. This project features a continuity of design to compliment the building’s previous 2011 addition which includes a signature blue curtain wall and metal panel that today, proudly displays a new illuminated Arsenal Credit Union sign. At the start of the project, L. Keeley was challenged to demolish and weatherproof an approximately 1,000 SF portion of the lobby to tie the addition in to their existing facility. The demolition and all construction occurred while keeping the Credit Union fully operational. The project also satisfied the Credit Union’s need to add a generator to support critical member services infrastructure in the event of a power outage.
