Keeley Construction to Partner with Sydenstricker Nobbe Partners on New Store in Waterloo, IL

MARCH 5, 2024 – WATERLOO, IL – Keeley Construction is proud to partner with Sydenstricker Nobbe Partners (SNP) on a new John Deere store and office in Waterloo, IL, further solidifying SNP’s commitment to the community and driving their vision for strategic growth. This building will serve as a 42,100 SF showroom and service center for their state-of-the-art tractor inventory. The building will also include 7,500 square-feet of office spaces for team members with a mezzanine for team and visitor use. This new facility will be centrally located off IL Route 3.

As a local, family-owned business, it was important to SNP to work with like-minded partners on this project. Keeley Construction, headquartered in St. Louis, MO, was a perfect fit with a mission and core values that aligned perfectly with those of SNP. Keeley Construction will self-perform all concrete work and serve as General Contractor with Huebner Concrete & Excavation, located in Waterloo, IL, performing all excavation and earthwork. Work will begin in mid-March 2024 with a target completion date of mid-December 2024.

“We are excited for this opportunity to build on our legacy of serving the community with this new facility. We believe that this building will provide us the infrastructure to continue to support our current customers and the generation coming up behind them,” state Tom Nobbe, Owner of Sydenstricker Nobbe Partners.

As a true staple in the Waterloo community, Sydenstricker Nobbe Partners will continue to thrive in this fresh, new space. Keeley Construction has been a client of SNP’s for many years, purchasing equipment on past, current, and future projects. For the Keeley team, it is a true honor to go from being a client to a trusted partner and service provider. Working together on this project will build the foundation for a strong, long-lasting, reciprocal partnership.

Keeley Construction’s Industrial Group is proud to partner with IKO on the construction of a new crushing and coloring plant, supporting the company’s continued growth through a complex, full-scope industrial build. The project includes the construction of multiple buildings, the installation of all equipment & conveyors, and complete site utility work. This project will be delivered on an aggressive 18-month schedule. Keeley’s integrated self-perform teams will execute the work, with the Civil Group handling all civil and concrete scopes and the Steel Erection and Millwright teams leading building erection and equipment installation. “We’re proud to support IKO’s first shingle granular plant in the U.S. and look forward to building a strong, lasting partnership,” said John Herrin, Vice President at Keeley Construction. “Being selected by IKO for this project is a testament to our Industrial Group’s expertise and our ability to safely and efficiently deliver complex industrial work.” IKO emphasized the importance of selecting a trusted partner for this milestone project. “When selecting a contractor for the construction of the Bismarck Granule plant, our team performed a thorough analysis looking for a responsive partner who would be able to successfully execute the project,” said Helen Pejnovich, Regional Manufacturing Director at IKO. “We selected Keeley based on their capability and reputation in the St. Louis area.
