Keeley Building Spotlight: Texas Trust Credit Union

Keeley Construction was proud to partner with Texas Trust Credit Union to bring their vision for a new branch to life in Grand Prairie, TX. Keeley’s Plan | Design | Build team worked closely with Texas Trust and Oculus on the project, bringing it from initial conception through to a successful completion in November 2021.

This state-of-the-art facility serves as a testament to Texas Trust’s commitment to the Grand Prairie community and has allowed them to provide world-class services to their members on a larger scale. The branch has a drive-up ATM lane and a separate three lane drive-up with two-way audio & video between the remote teller and the members, allowing for simple and seamless transactions. Upon entry to the facility, visitors are greeted by a stunning lobby space that is illuminated at night with Texas Trust’s well-known blue, creating a beacon effect for passersby. Inside, transactions are made utilizing a teller pod concept, creating a more friendly and interactive environment. Finally, a safe deposit box vault is available for members to store their valuables.

This project was a complete, ground-up construction which can provide a unique set of challenges. During the project, the team ran into issues with poor soils, but they quickly came up with an innovative solution to keep the project on track. Mismarked utilities were also a hurdle that the team had to overcome, but working together as an integrated, robust unit, they were able to adapt quickly and ensure that no utilities were damaged.

Outside of credit union business, Texas Trust wanted to include something for the entire Grand Prairie area. A large community room and amenities for after-hours events is open to the community for various functions. Texas Trust is dedicated to enhancing their community, aligning perfectly with Keeley’s mission and values.
