Keeley Building Spotlight: Mazuma Credit Union

Keeley Construction was called upon by long-standing partner, Mazuma Credit Union, to design and build a new branch in the growing North Kansas City market. The Mazuma team found an ideal site adjacent to a Quik Trip on North Oak Trafficway and engaged the Keeley team to assist with site analysis and due diligence. After multiple design iterations and the evolution of a Mazuma program brought on by COVID, the team decided on a state-of-the-art branch concept utilizing teller pods for lobby transactions and a mix of island ATMS with a through-the-wall transaction drawer for drive-up customers.

This brand-new branch utilizes all private offices for member consultation and services. A spacious lobby and waiting area hosts a refreshment counter, comfortable seating, and device charging stations for customer comfort and convenience. This space was designed with the community in mind, so a large conference room and outdoor space was thoughtfully included for events such as community meetings, farmers markets, barbecues, small concerts, etc. Lighting, portable outdoor seating, and a patio with electrical rough-ins were include for ease of use.

Keeley Building enlisted the services of the Keeley Industrial Group for all steel erection, providing the Power of One throughout the project.
