Seadrift Drainage Improvements

As a subcontractor on this TxDOT-funded drainage
improvement project, Keeley Civil Texas is self-performing
the construction of two single-span bridges over a slough
in a residential neighborhood in Seadrift, TX. The scope
includes all structural components for both crossings, with
each bridge consisting of five 40-foot prestressed concrete
beams weighing approximately 30,000 pounds each. In
total, the project will require approximately 80 cubic yards
of concrete, including placement for abutments and bridge
decks.
Given the residential setting and the precision required
for beam placement and bridge structure alignment, the
project demands a high level of coordination and quality
control. With a contract value of over $841,000, this project
plays a key role in improving neighborhood drainage and
mobility. Currently underway, the project is on track for
completion by August 2025.
