The Peruque Dump Station project in O’Fallon, Missouri, was a new cast-in-place concrete facility built to serve as a disposal point for the City’s sewer vacuum trucks, connecting directly to an existing lift station. Keeley Construction self-performed 100% of the work, including the construction of two cast-in-place concrete structures for unloading and screening, new piping connections, fabrication and installation of a custom metal bar screen, and new reinforced concrete pavement with site drainage improvements. The project utilized 75 cubic yards of concrete, 10 tons of reinforcing steel, and 780 square feet of reinforced pavement. Despite challenges with existing utility conflicts and uncoordinated grading designs from other City projects, Keeley provided value-added solutions to improve drainage and longevity through a redesigned reinforced concrete drive.
