This 42,100 SF pre-engineered metal building was constructed to house a new John Deere dealership featuring a full showroom, sales offices, parts storage, service office, agricultural and turf shops, a large wash bay capable of servicing combines, and corporate office space. The customer-facing showroom and parts areas included a mezzanine built with wood stud walls, wood floor joists, and tongue-and-groove decking, with high-end finishes such as luxury vinyl tile, painted gypsum board, and acoustical ceilings.
Site work included full building pad preparation, parking and drive construction, utility installation, and delivery dock construction. In true Power of One fashion, Keeley Civil self-performed the foundations, slab-on-grade, and site concrete package, while Keeley Building—serving as the General Contractor—self-performed rough and finish carpentry, including interior framing, prefabricated wall panels, casework and millwork installation, and all doors, frames, and hardware.
A key challenge during the project involved securing water service to the site. With the existing 8-inch main unable to support the building’s fire protection needs, the team developed an alternative solution by installing an onsite fire pump and storage tank. Despite utility obstacles, the project was completed safely with ZERO recordables.
