MOAW North Plant Sludge Vault

MOAW North Plant Sludge Vault is a design-build project focused on new construction and enhancements to site utilities at the North Plant. The scope included excavation of a 20' x 40' x 20' deep slide rail shoring pit, boring 150 feet of 24" casing under the existing sludge basin, and installation of 400 feet of 8" HDPE process piping. The project also featured the installation of a 12' diameter, 20' deep precast sludge vault with miscellaneous metals, and connection to an existing outfall pipe via new sanitary piping and a 25' deep setover precast manhole. Work included concrete, materials hoisting, and all associated site utilities and excavation.
