L. Keeley Civil: Solar Panels

In December 2019, L. Keeley's Civil team partnered with ENGIE (a global leader in low carbon energy) to provide 2,740 driven piles needed to support solar panels at two separate sites in Darwin, Illinois. This complex project took place on a compressed schedule with a deadline of December 31, 2019.

ENGIE needed a team to complete the project with a focus on successful execution and ability to meet the highest safety expectations. ENGIE performed a rapid search for a company capable of providing the safety, quality, and commitment to the strict schedule. The L. Keeley team provided a quick response to ENGIE and, after being selected, was able to quickly mobilize equipment and manpower, allowing the team to be on site only five days later. The L. Keeley team was committed to the timeline, working seven days a week for 10-12 hours each day to ensure that all requirements were met.

L. Keeley's world-class safety culture, comprehensive quality program, and dedication to exceeding expectations led to the completion of the project on December 21, 2019 - nine days ahead of schedule. The Civil team self-performed 100% of the work and was able to control the quality of the product and the flow of work, resulting in zero punchlist items at the end of the project.
